Welcome to Amazing Sanctuary!

This quarter-length course is another in-depth Bible adventure in the Amazing Facts Center of Evangelism (AFCOE) study series—which also includes Amazing Disciples and Amazing Doctrines.

As God’s messengers in these end times, we have a special mission to spread the everlasting gospel to a dying world. Knowing this, we need to dedicate more prayer, reflection, and study into the great work that our High Priest is doing for us in the heavenly sanctuary. Take note:

While the investigative judgment is going forward in heaven, while the sins of penitent believers are being removed from the sanctuary, there is to be a special work of purification, of putting away of sin, among God’s people upon earth (The Great Controversy, p. 425).

This special preparation is explained and detailed in the earthly sanctuary, a model of the throne room of God in heaven.

The Creator told Moses, “Let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them” (Exodus 25:8, my emphasis). It is God’s desire to dwell with humanity once again, but sin has separated us from Him. In His grace, He points us to a sanctuary that helps us better understand the steps we need to take to put away our sinful tendencies, to be cleansed from sin, to be fully restored in the image of God—and, therefore, able to dwell in His presence for all eternity.

This is the driving force behind this new course. Amazing Sanctuary is a powerful, 13-week eCourse that will take you on a voyage in Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation, and bring forth the essential teachings of God’s temple that will prepare you for the soon return of Jesus. These lessons will also help you to have a deeper understanding so that you might explain to others the wonderful lessons we find in God’s amazing illustration of salvation.

Of course, it’s impossible to grasp all the details of the infinite wisdom of God in His sanctuary in 13 short weeks, but these lessons will provide you with the key points you need to know. Amazing Facts is passionate about helping you better understand God’s Word and equipping you to help others do the same.
